I’ve done improv as a hobby for a long time, since middle school even, and for the last year and half, I’ve been doing it at Magnet Theater in NYC.

Although I was hoping to get in to Team Performance Workshop this cycle, in order to prepare for auditioning to Megawatt (Magnet’s house teams), I sadly did not make the cut. So instead, I signed up for The Circuit, and for the Create-a-Form class with Peter McNerney. Both will have shows this Spring!

The Circuit

The Circuit are a set of shows on Wednesday nights following Megawatt, each with three teams of improvisers. Tickets are $8, and can be purchased online or at the door. Typically you should be fine getting tickets at the door.

This set of shows will run from March 11th, 2026 to April 29th, 2026. My team, Winifred is coached by Nick Plackis and will be performing on:

• Wednesday March 11th @ 10Pm
• Wednesday March 25th @ 10PM
• Wednesday April 8th @ 10PM
• Wednesday April 22nd @ 10PM

Shows are at 10PM every Wednesday throughout March and April though, so please do see other teams as well. I hope to see you there!

Create-a-Form

Create-a-form is an elective class taught by Peter McNerney where we will practice and perform a never-before seen format of improv! We don’t even know what it will look like yet, as the classes have only just begun. I will update this page once I know how much tickets will cost, but they’ll probably be less than $10. Typically you should be fine getting tickets at the door.
